Explain how delivery appropriate or inappropriate for a classroom presentation?

Watch the above speech. This is from the national final round of informative speaking in 1993. Using the informative speech rubric, critique the speech. I want you to go the rubric item by item and offer a thorough critique. You may skip pronunciation and grammar. Yes, the delivery is very good (if I do say so myself), but in what ways could it be improved? How is this delivery appropriate or inappropriate for a classroom presentation? Do you feel like the delivery is natural or over-rehearsed? There is a difference between extemporaneous speaking and speaking memorized from a manuscript. Sometimes students are really well prepared in terms of knowing the script but they sound too formal, too monotone, too unnatural. What are your thoughts? Post an initial 250-word critique and two follow up 125-word critiques.
