For 2 days, track your food and drink using the attachedFood Log Handout(also posted below). For each meal, break out the primary ingredients and assign them to each row. Fill in the columns about nutrition (veggie, fruit, grain, protein; fat content; sugar content); cost; distance from the place of origin (if you dont know, put a question mark); and packaging. After the 2 days are over, write a 1-page summary. This should include your average daily cost of food; the extent to which your food was nutritionally balanced; and how many resources were used to package and ship your food. You may wish to include a graph or table in some cases. Convert your food logs and 1-page summary to a single PDF.
