Language development fact sheet

As part of your new job, you are required to create client communications. For this task, you need to create a one page Language Development Fact Sheet. Your Fact Sheet targets bi-lingual speaking parents of preschoolers (3 – 6 year olds). The Fact Sheet should be based on scientific evidence and theory and offer the reader information that is beyond common knowledge and common sense. This one page Fact Sheet offers an overview of milestones for the defined age period, potential language development problems for the preschoolers with bilingual parents, strategies to facilitate language development, and other relevant information. Carefully consider the unique situation of bi-lingual families when considering information to share in each section. Although language milestones may be universal, developmental problems and strategies likely differ for those in this environment. Provide information that helps your target audience. With a creative license, you will create a Fact Sheet that addresses these topics in a concise, visually appealing, and easy to read format. For clarity, your fact sheet should include:
List and description of primary language milestones for this age period and living environment.Four potential problems or disorders related to language development and this age group living in this environment.Four strategies to facilitate language development and the rationale for their effectiveness.Identification of helpful resources (can be used as one of the four language development strategies)Four other additional points or interesting information about language development for this age group and target audience.Page requirement and formatting
The requirements above must be presented on one page.
Remember that like textbooks and brochures, clear, interesting, manageable, and graphic fact sheets are more likely to be read. Do not write this paper like a typical research paper. Consider your audience (bilingual parents of preschoolers) and present the information in way that will engage them. Be informative, yet creative!
