The Solow Model

Since week 4, we’ve been focusing on long run growth. The chapters for this assignment are:Chapter 4 (A Model of Production)Chapter 5 (Solow Model)Chapter 6 (Growth and Ideas)As with the prior project, you can opt for a short presentation with a voice over, a short video of some other sort, some sort of graphic presentation (info graph or conference poster), or a written paper (white paper, executive summary/memo, journalism article). Here’s the prompt:Assume you are a researcher for an NGO or governmental entity. You’ve been asked to prepare a summary of long-run economic growth. Pick a model (the production model, the Solow Model, or Ideas), (1) summarize the key findings of that model, (2) show how the well the model explains the data, and (3) discuss ways to improve the model for the future. You may use the charts and graphs presented in the book but must offer an explanation in your own words.Your basic goal is to convey the idea presented by the model, then discuss if this model can be applied in real life to a developing economy.
I decided on the Solow Modelthere wasnt a specific rubric so i decided to make my own in a way-I was gonna do 2-3pgs summarizing and explaining the solow model-1pg with a pic of a graph explain how its for the model (FRED stl website)-1pg with a pic of a graph explaining how the graph condradicts the model (FRED stl website)-1.5 pg on how to improve the model-1.pg conclusion: Your basic goal is to convey the idea presented by the model, then discuss if this model can be applied in real life to a developing economy
