Write a personal/argumentative Narrative of a specific event emblematic of how or in what manner food has been important in your life and how you relate to your cultural or economic or environmental surroundings.

No particular font, but something professional and 12pt in size. It can be about anything: a particular dish, a method of cooking, a family food ritual, a place for bonding with friends over food and drink, etc.—but it must have relevance beyond personal opinion. The paper will use that narrative as a way of advancing an argument. It will explicitly inform the reader of a particular issue or problem, arguing for a particular point. This argument need not be seriously confrontational (e.g. “Meat eaters are evil!”). For the purposes of this paper it might simply be to explore the significance of a particular practice and inform the reader of its existence. Work Ethos, Pathos, and Logos into the argument.
